Some medical dermatology consultations may be covered by health insurance policies. Cosmetic procedures (laser hair removal, Botox, fillers) are generally not covered. Please contact your insurance provider and our clinic administrator for specific queries.
Please bring any previous prescriptions or lab reports related to your skin condition, a list of current medications and any known allergies. Come with clean, makeup-free skin if possible, especially for a skin evaluation.
Yes, absolutely. Dr. Vineet Verma uses diode (810 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) lasers — both specifically designed and safe for Indian skin tones (Fitzpatrick types IV, V and VI). When performed by a qualified MD dermatologist like Dr. Verma, the risk of burns or blisters is minimal.
Most patients require 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to achieve 80–90% permanent hair reduction. The exact number depends on the treatment area, hair thickness and your hormonal profile.
We treat all body areas including face (upper lip, chin, sideburns), underarms, bikini line, legs, arms, back and chest. Each area has different session counts and session durations.
Shave the area 24 hours before (do not wax or thread for 4 weeks before the session). Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before treatment. Remove all makeup, cream and deodorant from the treatment area. Wear loose clothing to your appointment.
Yes. Dr. Vineet Verma performs FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant at our Hisar clinic. You do not need to travel to Delhi or Chandigarh. The procedure is done in a single day, with a recovery period of 7–10 days.
Typically 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance session every 6 months. Results (reduced shedding and new growth) are visible after the 2nd or 3rd session.
Yes. Dr. Verma treats female pattern hair loss, PCOS-related hair thinning and alopecia in women with PRP therapy and, where appropriate, hair transplant procedures. Women are assessed separately as the pattern of hair loss differs from men.
Yes. We are one of the few clinics in Hisar district offering narrowband UVB (NBUVB) phototherapy — the gold standard for vitiligo. We also offer topical treatments (tacrolimus, corticosteroids) and surgical options for stable vitiligo.
Most patients see improvement in active acne within 4–6 weeks of starting treatment. Acne scars treated with chemical peels or CO₂ laser typically show visible improvement after 3–4 sessions, with full results at 6–9 months.
Yes. Dr. Vineet Verma has extensive experience in paediatric dermatology including childhood eczema, atopic dermatitis, warts, fungal infections, birthmarks and diaper rashes. Children are treated with age-appropriate medications and a gentle approach.
Absolutely. All venereology consultations are strictly confidential. Private consultation rooms are used and no information is shared with third parties. Dr. Verma maintains a non-judgmental approach to STD diagnosis and treatment.
Yes. Stretch marks are treated with microneedling with RF (radiofrequency), fractional CO₂ laser and PRP therapy. Hesitation marks and self-harm scars can also be significantly improved with laser resurfacing and microneedling — all done with complete confidentiality and sensitivity.
Yes. Earlobe repair for torn or stretched earlobes is done as a quick in-clinic procedure under local anaesthesia. Epidermoid, pilar and sebaceous cyst excisions are also performed in-clinic with minimal downtime. No hospital admission required.
Yes. We treat all types of warts — common warts (face, hands), plantar warts (foot), periungual warts (around nails) and genital warts (HPV condyloma). Treatment options include CO₂ laser ablation, electrocautery, cryotherapy and podophyllin. Genital wart consultations are 100% confidential.
Yes. Molluscum contagiosum (small pearly viral skin bumps) is treated with cryotherapy, electrocautery or CO₂ laser. It is common in children and adults and responds well to treatment. Genital molluscum is also managed confidentially.
Yes. Dr. Vineet Verma is a trained Venereologist (part of his MD qualification). Herpes simplex (oral and genital) is treated with antiviral medications. Syphilis is diagnosed via VDRL/TPHA testing and treated with penicillin. HIV counselling and ICTC referral is provided. All consultations are strictly private.
Milia are tiny white cysts under the skin — removed by precise needle extraction. Syringoma are small benign sweat gland tumours that appear around the eyes — treated effectively with CO₂ laser. Comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) are treated with manual extraction, chemical peels and medical skincare. All three can be treated in a single visit.
Yes, when it is severe or persistent. Dandruff caused by Malassezia yeast and seborrheic dermatitis affecting the scalp, face or chest require proper antifungal treatment, medicated shampoos and sometimes systemic medication. Over-the-counter shampoos often do not resolve the root cause. A dermatologist diagnosis ensures the correct treatment is prescribed.
Botox injections typically last 3–6 months depending on the area treated, the dose used and individual muscle activity. Regular maintenance injections every 4–6 months maintain results. First-time users often find results last on the shorter end.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers are safe for all skin types including Indian skin. When injected by a qualified MD dermatologist, the risk of complications is very low. Dr. Verma performs a detailed facial assessment before recommending filler placement.
Superficial peels (glycolic, salicylic) have minimal downtime — mild redness for 24–48 hours. Medium-depth peels (TCA) may cause peeling for 5–7 days. You will receive full aftercare instructions and a sun protection protocol after every peel session.
